What your child will experience
First and foremost, excellent music-making in a community shaped by Christian faith. We may pray together, and our repertoire includes sacred works alongside other music. Faith is woven gently through the life of the ensemble rather than bolted on, and it sits comfortably beside the hard, joyful work of becoming a fine musician.
Everyone is welcome
You do not need to be a Christian, or part of any particular church, for your child to belong here. We are ecumenical: Christians of every tradition are at home with us, and so are families of other faiths or none. Your child will be valued for who they are, not for what they believe.
Shared openly, never forced
We share our faith openly and warmly, because it is the heart of who we are. We never share it coercively. Your child will never be pressured, singled out, or made to feel they must believe anything to take part fully. Respect runs both ways, and questions are always welcome.
Why faith and the arts
Our heart is to reclaim the arts for Christ: to make beautiful, excellent work, and to help young people grow in character, generosity, and craft inside a community that genuinely cares for them. If you have any questions about what to expect, email youth@australianchristianarts.com.
